"Listen my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching. They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck."(Proverbs 1:8-9)

Dear Parents and Students,

Greetings! from Assisi!

Society is fast changing. We are in the digital era which is now fast changing. A demographic change takes root all over the world. Human society is fast changing from Homo sapiens to Homo zappiens to Homo netizens (internet generation). It means the greatest shift of human history, a new approach, non-linear with traditional thought and world. Boys and girls 'born digital' develop wavelengths of varying intellectual capacity more open and less individual. Th bn cnvcvbnmnbvcd is change is a decisive youth's influence on the shaping of society.

At this juncture we have to think what training we shall give our children to enable them victoriously in this age. When we are privileged to receive them, we should show appreciation by raising them in the art of Godly living. Their training should equip them with skills, knowledge and wisdom for a successful life. No external institution or agency can do this better than home. Parents will be effective agents of change when they live an exemplary life and adhere to gospel standards. Parents are expected to help develop the positive and 'weed out' or 'prune' the negative. They should invest enough time to their children's emotional, physical, social and spiritual needs.

Teacher is the first person from whom the child learns his social skills. Major challenges for teachers are to nurture children's learning and give them various experiences to face this challenging world. Open minded, well balanced and planned teacher has great power to bring positive changes in the child's development. As the child grows and develops mastery in different skills, teachers become real guides in nurturing their interest in learning to make them more independent.

School, teachers and parents play a vital role in the holistic development of the child. Parents are the first mentors of the child and teachers the second. Both have an immense contribution and responsibility in shaping child's personality. Trust and mutual understanding between parents and teachers is the real secret of child's happy learning. Remarkable positive change is seen in a child if parents and teachers understand and work hand in hand.

May God Bless you all!
